Easy Cooking

Grace loves cooking with her Easy Bake Oven.  At Christmas Great Papa and Great Brenda gave her some great cooking kits and Grace couldn't wait to use them.  Tonight she chose the "S'mores" packet.

Cowgirl Program

Grace always loves a program and her 4K Cowboy Program was no exception.

She was so excited about practicing all her songs and was very serious about not letting us listen to them so we "could be surprised."

Nurse Grace

There is a little boy in Kate's class that is a little more rambunctious than the others.  Kate is always reporting why he got put into time out that day when she gets home.  Today she ended up with a tiny scratch on her face as a result of some rough playing.  We weren't home one minute before Grace went right to the band-aids and doctored Kate back to health :)

A Well Packed Bag

I told Kate she was going to stay with her Grandma and Pop for a few days so she squealed with joy and grabbed her suitcase to "pack my stuff."  Two minutes later her doll house was cleared out and ready to go...

Best Valentine

Grace didn't get a chance to do any Valentines shopping but that didn't stop her from giving me a card.  She spent a long time in her room and came out with this- such a sweet, smart girl!  She found an old birthday card and made it into a Valentine's card for me.

Making valentines for my friends growing up was always one of my favorite activities and I'm excited to report the girls are just like me :)

Fun with Nana

Nana came to take care of all of us since I had some exploratory surgery and ended up with my appendix out :(  The girls had a blast!  Lots of crafts and lots of cooking.  We don't have many pictures since I was stuck on the couch most of the time :(

We were able to celebrate my birthday with my traditional cupcake- I've had them every year since grade school- thanks Mom!

Superbowl Win!!

It was so exciting to have my birthday on the same week as the Green Bay Packers went to, and won!, the Superbowl :)
