Grace was super excited about her dance recital again this year. She talked about it for weeks leading up to it and just couldn't believe they were going to be in a "real theater." We had brunch with the family before the big event. Grace was very excited to open some gifts (as was Kate although I'm not sure what she did to warrant gifts :)) and we were even able to celebrate an early Mother's Day with her Grandma. We were sorry Great-Grandma was not able to join us but Grace loved her Barbie ballerina that was wearing a purple outfit just like Grace from Great-Grandma.
Grace wanted her hair up like real ballerinas-
Some pre-show shots
This next picture that Jack Sr. took shows what Grace was most proud of- her makeup. I put some blush and a tad bit of lipstick on her and she was thrilled :)
The big show- Grace was proud to be a Violet
We were really worried about Kate making a commotion during the performance but she wasn't a problem...
In the end number of the recital, all the dancers were able to perform together. We were very lucky that Grace was on the front row. She did great! Sang the entire song and did all the motions! Super job!
We ran into her friend Lily as we were leaving and Lily was heading to her performance
Sweet girl, great show!
