I was able to reunite with my freshman year in college roommate, Heather, over the holidays. We'd become "friends" on Facebook several months ago but after Christmas she posted that she was heading down from Ohio to see her parents. I asked if she was stopping in our town and a few days later, her and her family made a two hour trip from her parents' house to see us. I haven't seen her since our wedding and I've never met her stepdaughter and sons. The kids got along great and it was so nice to be able to catch up.
