Afternoon Egg Hunt (Hunt #2)

Our friends, the Montes, had their annual egg hunt on Sunday and we all had a great time.

When the hunt started all the kids went running towards the eggs. Grace headed out, picked up an egg, shook it and threw it down. We were a little confused but continued to watch without saying anything. She picked up a few more and after shaking them, would throw most down, only keeping a few. Jack finally asked her what she was doing and she replied "looking for chocolate. Those have stickers- I not want that." We didn't know if we should scold her for being so choosy at someone else's house or be impressed she figured out the weight of the egg coincided with the prize inside. We let her go about her methods and she had fun. She only ended up with a few eggs but it was quality not quantity with her ;o)

Kate had too much fun! I had literally told my friend Heather that morning that Kate never falls asleep in our arms. She didn't waste anytime proving me wrong.
