Jack and I were invited to a 4th of July party at our friend Nate and his roommates Christian and Luke's penthouse. They live in a great location on the top of a building downtown so the firework view was perfect. The girls were the only ones under the age of 20 for most of the party but they didn't seem to mind- they had a great time and they behaved very well!
We played bocce' ball on the roof quite a few times- yes, there is grass on the roof! Our friend Bob was lots of fun to hang out with.
Kate received lots of attention- here she is with Christian 
She did sneak in a quick nap ;o)
The radio did a "count down" to the fireworks show- Grace and Bob decided to join in- three minutes to the show!

Honestly we were afraid the fireworks might be too loud and Grace would be scared. I'm happy to report we were wrong! She LOVED them! She even took some pictures on my iPhone so she could remember the fireworks.

We left right after the fireworks, before the party really got started. Thanks for inviting us and letting the girls come!
