Kate's 1st Birthday Date

To continue our family tradition, Jack and I took Kate out for her birthday to celebrate all by herself.

We started out doing her favorite thing- eating! She loved her big breakfast!

Next we had to drop off some papers at my office so it gave us a few minutes to see Kate's Godmother, Gayle.

Then we headed to the zoo for zoo class.  All the other kids that had signed up were sick so we had our own private zoo class!  Fitting for a birthday girl!

Kate did well with the animals for a little while but then discovered something much more exciting...a table with a tablecloth...

We tried to show her more animals....

Since it was her birthday...

Eventually we did get back to a snake...

We then took a walk around the zoo.  Kate liked the animals but really liked exploring in this cave she found

We also stumbled upon this random Big Al blowup so we stopped and did a cheer

After our zoo trip we went and saw Grace's school program for lunch.  We did continue the birthday celebration later that evening with a trip to a yogurt place and invited everyone to join us-
