Animal Kingdom

Since we were in Florida for Jack's races, we decided to spend a day at the Animal Kingdom.  We all had a great time.  Everything went as expected- Grace was too afraid to ride most of the rides, Kate loved them, Grace loved meeting a princess, Kate loved the music.  Here are a few pictures of our day-

Nana's scooter was the source of much joy and then sorrow (when it wasn't your turn to ride)
Everyone loved the animals on the safari
Kate had a long morning..
They went to get Jack a coffee...
Isabella loved the characters!
Sweet girls!
At the Lion King show Kate had the time of her life.  She danced and sang the entire time.  She never stopped moving

It was too much for Grace.  One side of me was rockin', the other side asleep...
Grace avoided all the "characters" all day so when she saw Pocahontas, a princess, she was so excited to meet her.  We stood in line for quite a while watching Pocahontas greet all the other kids.  Just before it was our turn, Chip and Dale joined Pocahontas.  Grace was devastated and terrified.  She wanted out of  the line right away.    Jack took Grace away and I stayed to plead with C & D to leave.  I told them she was scared of them so they covered their eyes... Not really helpful... Finally they walked to the back and Grace was able to come back and talk to the princess.
When they posed for a picture- this happened-
I knew she was going to scream at any minute but apparently those sneaky chipmunks didn't make a sound- she had no idea until we showed her afterwards.  She insisted they weren't in the pictures until we showed her the camera then after her shock, she started laughing hysterically.  Bent over laughing.  Apparently that picture was the funniest thing that has ever happened to her.  She is still laughing about it...
After some rides and the shows, we waited for the parade.  One of the Disney workers took our picture a few times.  Then she randomly started taking pictures of Kate and her beautiful eyes.   They are pretty but I have about 10 pictures on my camera of Kate that she took.  Interesting...
Obviously Kate didn't understand all the pictures either :)
The best part of the whole day was when Minnie Mouse went by on the parade.  Grace literally ripped open her jacket and pointed at Minnie, then her shirt and then back at Minnie.   You could tell Grace thought that Minnie would be so excited to see a shirt with her picture on it.
