Pinkalicious, the Cake

Grace's choice for a birthday party this year was "Pinkalicious" which is a popular children's book.  The little girl eats too many pink cupcakes and turns pink.  One of my first thoughts was that this was going to be an easy cake- we'll just do a large pink cupcake.  Grace had other ideas....  She wanted Pinkalicious- she wanted "to eat her shoulder and some of her hair."
We started the cake late- after the wedding- and luckily Jack is really good at free-hand drawing.

Jack missed Jeff but he did great despite not having his main design helper.  (and the cake probably wasn't symmetrical which is Jeff's speciality with his measurements and scales).

Some were more helpful than others....

:)  He did have a long day as a groomsman.... :)
