Kate and I had the opportunity to go and spend time with her new cousin Elaina.
We flew which was an adventure in itself. Thanks to leaving a few minutes late, rain, road construction and wrong directions, we ended up getting to the airport parking lot 30 minutes before our flight was to take off. 30 minutes! With Kate and all our bags. By myself. Thank goodness the Chattagnooga airport is not very big. I ran with Kate under one arm, kicking me because she wanted to run herself, the bags in the other. I even forgot to lock the car (thanks Craig and Laura for fixing that!) Made it to the check in desk with 23 minutes before take off and through security 15 minutes before (despite Kate's screaming because we had to take off her shoes).
Kate did pretty well on the plane. The gentleman next to us ending up finding another seat so we could have two next to each other for her books and toys. I still had to hold her the entire time which she wasn't a big fan of but we managed. At one point the ladies in the row across from us reached over and took her which gave my lap a 20 minute break and the three of them had a great time.
The best part of the trip was as we were leaving baggage claim with Jeff and Isabella, Kate stopped, turned around, looked at everyone and waved as hard as she could, yelling "Buh Bye! Buh Bye!"
We had a great trip! Kate loved playing with Isabella and it was great to spend time with Elaina.
We made cookies!
Pizza
And messes...
Sweet Kate shared her most prized possession-
Thanks for letting us visit!

I love the pic of Kate, Isabella and Elaina on the couch. Elaina looks so tiny. That is so sweet that Kate gave Elaina her grover. Too cute!
Laura
How sweet of Kate to share Grover. I love how well all the cousins get along.
