Kate's New GeGe

I would be remiss if I didn't mention Kate's new baby that she found at Grace's birthday party.  Itt was at a doll store so Kate was in heaven with all the "GeGes" but she fell in love with this tiny baby and the tiny baby bottle.  It kept Kate busy most of the party so her grandma was glad to reward it with a trip home to our house.  Kate loves her new tiny GeGe!

Still Celebrating

After soccer we went home to open gifts.  Grace loved all her presents!
I'm not sure what we did to deserve this one- thanks Nana and Papa :)
Kate wanted in on the action
Baby Elaina wanted to be part of the action too

Soccer!

We left Grace's birthday party and went directly to Grace's first soccer practice.  My dad and I hurried to get her there and we were running a little late.  We both tried to get her dressed in the parking lot and she ended up with both legs in one short leg and her shoes on the wrong feet.  She thought it was hysterical that we didn't know what we were doing ;)
Here are some great shots of playing with Papa.  She is MUCH improved over last year!  She ran and kicked and the ball and didn't get too tired...
Working on balance.  Not sure who is holding who...
Go Mini Kickers!

The Girls

It's not a great picture but it's the first one of all 5 cousins!  They are going to have so much fun growing up together!

Pinkalicious, the Party

Grace had a fabulous 4th birthday party.  She wanted a Pinkalicious party theme and we found some where that hosted such a party.  So we veered from our usual large park party to a small intimate theme party.  Since we were very limited on amount of guests, it was Grace's first "all girl" party.
The only problem with the party place was that they weren't open on Grace's birthday weekend so we had it the next weekend.  Grace was really confused about this and didn't understand how we could move her birthday.  Poor thing- she assumes "birthday" means "party."  I'm still not sure she totally understands :(
The party started with free play in the store-
Then the girls received tutus from Grace and started to play on the stage

Grace then got to sprinkle glitter on her friends and put eye make-up on them!
