Colorado Trip- Vacation

I had a conference in Denver for FPA so Jack and I decided to take advantage of the trip to our favorite state.  My parents were very gracious to watch the girls not only for my conference but also to give us a few extra days for a much needed vacation.  We rented a cabin in Estes Park for three days which was just beautiful.  It's a great little town that was pretty deserted during the winter but perfect for relaxing.  Here are the views from our cabin-

We laughed the whole trip at our poor little car.  The rental place asked us if we wanted to be "upgraded" for no cost to an SUV since we were going into the mountains.  Of course we agreed and we were excited.  But it wasn't exactly what we expected...

The poor thing chugged at the slightest incline but it got us where we needed to go :)

We spent some time driving around Rocky Mountain National Park looking at the great scenery and the snow!

We loved our few days of quiet in our little cabin!
