Our city had an "end of summer" event with swimming and a movie in the park. They had a pool that was 2 1/2 feet deep which was perfect for Grace since she could stand. Neither Jack nor I intended on getting wet but Kate had other plans.... We took her in and all she wanted to do was splash the water with her hands. As she squealed, we got soaked!
After swimming we sampled some food and played some of the kids games. Then we settled in to watch the movie. We really didn't plan on lasting long since the movie didn't start until late but the girls did great. It was a beautiful night and we all enjoyed being together.
